Sawadee Krup Everybody,

I apologize for not being able to type in Thai krup.  :-\  I have a Colt Gold Cup National Match (Series 80) that I would like to modify. My question is: would modification affect the value/price of the gun? And if I don't want to affect the value of this gun, what parts below should I not install?

1. Ed Brown memory groove beavertail grip safety
2. Ed Brown tactical extended safety
3. Ed Brown drop-in-maxi-well
4. Ed Brown drop-in bushing
5. Ed Brown two-piece guide rod assembly
6. Ed Brown standard magazine release with oversize button
7. Ed Brown hex head grip screw
8. Kings checkered slide stop
9. STI match trigger (black polymer)
10. Millet tritium front and rear sights for Colt Gold Cup
11. Wilson checkered frontstrap (wrap around)
11. Crimson Trace laser grip

If I were you I wouldn't do it specially if you live in Thailand but if you have no plan to sell it then go ahead.

Someone  told  me  that  this  model  is  no  longer  in  current  production  lines  or  it  is  hard  to  find  a  brand  new  one  now  .  According  to  your  parts  list  ,  I  think  that  you  could  switch  to  the  factory  original  parts  at  anytime  you  would  like  to  ......  except  the  Millet  Tritium  sights  set  ,  but  I  think  that  it  will  not  affect  the  value  .     

Just  my  2  cents    ;D 

I  also  have  one  ,  the  parts  which  I  replaced  are  the  slide  stop  ,  2  sides  safety  (  forgot  the  technical  term  )  and   Haart  guide  rod  .

You will need to cut the frame

I will put in the parts that will not require modification to the frame and will sell the beaver tail.
