Thai youngster are creative and good :Dat technical staff but they are limited to resource avaliable in Thailand such as my eaxmple below,
When I was building my project for graduation at KMITNB, I need a piece of chip (IC) from Unitrode. I had sample chip before but unfortunately I burnt it out. I had spent long long time try to get one but it was not available in Thailand. Finally I contract Singapore supplier to get two chips and ask my friend who was about to visit Singapore to get them for me. When I got i, I can't believe my eyes, the chip is marked "THAILAND" which mean this chip is factoried in Thailand.
There are many chip factories in Thailand which BOI has supported them for Tax exception, factory facilities, etc. But all the production has to be send out. If any Thai happen to use this product we have to buy from ex-country suppliers, Singapore for instant ad they add up 100% commission + tax?
Why BOI not just said that 1% 2% or 5% of the product must be avialable to local market so anyone can buy it from local market and we don't loose our currency.
