ขออนุญาตครับ Tasco เคยผลิตรุ่นนี้จริงครับ  ส่งเข้าร่วมแข่งขันประมูลจนผ่านการทดสอบของ US Navy จนได้รับเข้าประจำการ( นานมาแล้ว)  หลังจากนั้นก็ผลิตขายให้ประชาชนอยู่ได้พักนึงก็เลิกผลิตไป
จนกระทั่งทาง บริษัท SWFA ซื้อลิขสิทธิ์พิมพ์เขียวมา  แล้วจ้างบริษัทในญี่ปุ่นผลิตขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง โดยใช้สเป็คเดิมที่ผ่านการประมูล  และใช้ชื่อว่า SWFA Super Sniper จนถึงทุกวันนี้
กล้องแพงๆสมัยนี้ทำใน ญี่ปุ่นก็หลายยี่ห้อ 
ผมเองเบี้ยน้อย หำใหญ่เอ้ยหอยน้อยซื้อกล้องแพงกว่าปืนครึ่งต่อครึ่งไม่ไหว  ซื้อไม่ลง  เลยต้องคอยหาของดีใช้ได้ราคาถูกใช้  ผมไม่ค่านายหน้า ไม่ได้ส่งขายนะครับ  เห็นว่าคุ้มราคาดีเลยนำมาเล่าให้ฟัง

แต่มีเรื่องที่ควรจะต้องทราบอยู่ว่ากล้องยี่ห้อนี้ ผลิตโดยทาสโก้ จากญี่ปุ่น  ในบางสถานที่ เขาชอบยกเรื่องนี้ขึ้นมาคุยข่มกัน

ในกรณี SS  ผมขออนุญาตคิดว่า ผม ใช้ "เลกซัส"  แล้วกันครับ ผู้การฯ  เพราะการันตีด้วยอเมริกันหน่วยซีลบางหน่วยใช้
แต่โชคร้ายโม้ไม่ได้เต็มปาก เพราะไม่ใช่รุ่นเดียวและสเปคเดียวกับผมนะซิครับ ...แฮ่ๆ

นี่ครับนัมเบอร์ของ US Navy contract : Tasco U.S. Navy Contract #N00164-93-C-205
การประมูลของกับทางกองทัพ  ถ้าผ่านและได้รับเลือกจะมีหทายเลข contract ให้ นัยว่าเป็นสัญญาการว่าจ้างให้ผลิตที่ผ่านขบวนการคัดเลือกมาแล้ว  
In 1993, The Crane Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center sent out a solicitation contract for a 10x sniper scope with very specific mil-spec features. Several companies (including Tasco, B&L and Leupold) submitted scopes specially built to the contract specifications.  The Navy bought a large number of the Tasco product under the contract #N00164-93-C-205.

Many people did not take the scopes seriously because of the Tasco name.  But you have to understand that Tasco is and was just a name, they own no factories. Normally Tasco would just buy off the shelf products from several factories in the orient and have them branded with their name. The SS scope was built from the ground up to the United States Navy's very specific specifications. All the specs are extreme in regards to durability, resolution, adjustment travel, etc. Tasco fulfilled the contract obligations and had some over runs that we agreed to buy as tasco had no easy way to move an un-catalogued scope. Prior to the contract fulfillment SS scopes were sold to those lucky enough to stumble across one for $800.00 and up.

We had such good success that we worked a deal with tasco to keep making the scopes exclusively for us but we had to be able to market them at the close-out price of $299.95 and $399.95 for the side focus version. Keep in mind the military paid considerably more for them in 1993. We have kept the price the same for over 10 years even though they continue to cost us more.

Prior to 2000 we started getting some complaints concerning quality control issues. The scopes have never changed and legally can't change without permission from the Department of Defense due to the fact that they were issued a NSN #, so we knew tasco was not skimping on the product. Tasco was going out of business and no one knew it at the time and their control of the factory where they were made was slipping in the QC department. Once Tasco filed bankruptcy, Bushnell bought them and by this time we had worked our own deal direct with the factory. We sent examples of the QC issues to them with solutions and implemented a double inspection process, and then we obtained permission from our Government to alter and update the scopes internally, bringing them into the 21st century.

We developed the Super Sniper logo and all the advertising slogans but have chosen to leave them off the packaging and scope to keep the cost down.......the scopes have always came in a plain white box with no markings and still do, its the way the military gets them still.  Currently we sell the SS 10x42 rear parallax to the U.S. Army for use on their M1A/M14 designated marksmen rifles in large numbers and smaller numbers for AR variants, and .50 BMGs.

SWFA Super Sniper scopes have a lifetime warranty performed by Bushnell on our behalf.

ถ้างบประมาณนี้ผมเชียร์ LEUPOLD VX-III 6.5-20x50 น่ะครับ ปรับได้ถึง 94 MOA ยิงได้ถึง 1000 หลา
อย่ามาพูดเลยว่าจะแค่ 500 ม. เดี๋ยวพอเห็นเพื่อนๆ ยิงได้ ตัวเองก็อยากยิงมั่งเหมือนกันแหละครับ เจอมาเยอะแล้ว

ระหว่างรอ "พี่เจษ "  ผมเอาข้อมูลที่เคยอ่านมาเพื่อพิจารณาสนับสนุนตาม ที่ " พี่เจษ " บอกนะครับ ...หากผิดพลาด ต้องขอโทษด้วย ภาษาฯไม่แข็งแรงครับ...

"....First we will start out by saying that the SWFA SS scopes have had a checkered and somewhat controversial past. The original "Super Sniper" scope was designed and sold by Tasco and by all reports were a good scope. I never did get a chance to use one of the original early Tasco versions, but I do know that as Tasco began to come on difficult financial times the quality of the Super Sniper scope deteriorated to the point that they were much like the rest of the poor quality Tasco lineup... and then the company was sold. At that point in time, things get better because the SWFA (riflescopes.com) company, and Chris Farris in particular, organized the purchased of the exclusive rights for distribution of the SS scope. They worked with the manufacturer to get the quality back up to the original scope's standards as well as made a few changes over the years to improve the scopes. That brings us to today.

By all accounts, the SS scopes made today are much better than the "lean years" at Tasco and are right there in quality with the original version. Another thing that SWFA appears to have changed is the dropping of the "Super Sniper" name from the lineup. Everywhere on the web page the scope is now referred to as the SS, which is probably a wise move as the Super Sniper name is not only a bit silly, but also has some of that checkered past associated with it that would be good to separate from. But in the same light, why do they still send the old documentation and manuals from Tasco with the Tasco name plastered everywhere? I would think they would want to separate themselves from the Tasco name all together and even a basic sheet or two of paper (IOR comes to mind) would be enough to get basic instructions on and would be affordable and they could put the SWFA name on it. .."
